A Closer Look Into The F12tdf
Interior
Uncompromising sportiness was the principal inspiration guiding the design of the F12tdf’s cabin. By utilizing carbon fiber in lieu of traditional materials and pairing back features such as door panels, glove compartment and floor mats the F12tdf has achieved considerable weight savings and a sporty cockpit that is highly focused on the driving experience.Exterior
Every exterior feature of the F12tdf was engineered with one purpose, to optimize aerodynamics. By integrating bigger splitter, dive planes, floor wings, redesigned Aerobridges, along with various other not-so-sublet changes, the Ferrari engineers nearly doubled the downforce and aerodynamic efficiency over the F12 while also creating a much more aggressive stance.Powertrain
Propelling the F12tdf is a front mounted V12 that boasts an additional 40bbhp & 15 ft-lb of torque over the already, incredibly powerful F12berlinetta. To transfer all that power to the wheels is an F1 dual-clutch gearbox that has been modified with shorter gear ratios to take advantage of the engine’s increased performance along with recalibrated shifting parameters for shorter shift times resulting in even faster acceleration.
